Urgent & Same Week Access

Urgent and priority referrals are accommodated whenever possible.

  • Same week availability is common for many ENT and audiology concerns
  • PA appointments are often available within 1–2 days
  • MD appointments are typically scheduled within 1–2 weeks

If timing is critical, please note “URGENT” in your referral email.

When to Refer to Our Team

ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)

  • Chronic sinusitis lasting longer than 12 weeks or recurrent sinus infections
  • Recurrent ear infections
    • Adults: 3 or more in 6 months, or 4 or more in 12 months
    • Children with persistent or complicated infections
  • Persistent nasal congestion, obstruction, or facial pressure not responding to medical therapy
  • Recurrent or difficult-to-control nosebleeds
  • Nasal polyps or suspected structural abnormalities (septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy)
  • Hoarseness or voice changes lasting longer than 2–3 weeks
  • Chronic sore throat, throat clearing, or globus sensation
  • Difficulty or pain with swallowing (dysphagia or odynophagia)
  • Chronic cough with suspected upper airway or laryngeal cause
  • Neck mass, thyroid nodule, or enlarged lymph node persisting longer than 2–3 weeks
  • Thyroid or parathyroid concerns
  • Snoring or suspected obstructive sleep apnea

Audiology

  • Sudden hearing loss (urgent referral recommended)
  • Gradual or progressive hearing loss
  • Asymmetric or unilateral hearing loss
  • Tinnitus, especially unilateral or pulsatile
  • Difficulty hearing speech in noise or group settings
  • Failed hearing screenings (adult or pediatric)
  • Balance concerns with suspected inner ear involvement
  • Vertigo versus non-vestibular dizziness
  • Aural fullness or pressure associated with hearing changes

Inspire® Upper Airway Stimulation is available for qualifying patients with moderate to severe OSA who are CPAP-intolerant.
